Synopsis Statement
One night, an unexpected guest visits the closed art museum, dancing in front of artworks. The senior security guard, who is about to retire, and the junior one, who just gets here, spend the entire long night catching the eccentric woman.
Here goes the saying: “Everything comes from nothing, while everything means nothing without you.”
Director's Statement
Zhang Chi graduated from University of Nottingham in Ningbo, China with a major in International Communication.
In 2014, he founded the Indifferent Movie Workshop and started his career in making feature films. In 2016, his medium-length film White Fog Mystery Shore (65“) entered the Main Competition Unit of the 10th FIRST International Film Festival. Last year, his first feature film Ocean Animal (112”) entered the Main Competition Unit of the 41st Moscow International Film Festival, winning the Special Prize of the Jury. This film has also been nominated for best photography in the First Feature Unit of Camerimage International Photographers Film Festival. Currently, his feature film Memory Cage is in post-production phase.
