Wu Yong
Wu Yong graduated from Sichuan Normal University and went to Beijing Film Academy for continued study in 2011. During the years of growing up, Wu discovered the fond of motion pictures and decided to pursue a lifetime career as a director. He is good at fast paced storytelling yet tends to provide as much detail as he can in the whole film which would enrich the story as a whole. Wu believes that a film is all about revealing the facts people have always ignored in life, and that, in the meantime, revealing those facts should always be a pleasure to the audience.

To put in a line, he insists that the core of Italian Neorealism is the supreme goal all filmmakers should pursue, especially for his fellow filmmakers in China.
