Synopsis

She graduated from the Photography Department of Communication University of China and MFA film creation successively. She went to the Film Academy of southern Canada for exchange and study. In 2016, the short debut film "What You Don't Know" won many awards, such as Asian Micro Film Art Festival and Beijing University Student Film Festival. The short film "Wake Up" won the Golden Sea View Award of Lincang Asian Micro Film Art Wood Festival. “You Are My Sunshine” won the grand prize in China Excellent Documentary of Student TV Festival Record, the best documentary of Silk Road International Film Festival and other awards.
Director's statement
Reunion is a very classic bridge in the love story. Although there are thousands of kinds of love in the world, the beauty must be the same. The film has made some anti-type attempts and expressions in audio-visual experience, such as color, picture frame and photography style. For example, the film deliberately uses white as the main clue through the setting and elements of the film scene and symbolizes white as a color of love; The film boldly tries to use a 3:1 frame, so that the two protagonists are visually framed in a wide and flat picture, and the distance between the two most familiar strangers in their peers will be presented more intuitively. The dream part of the film is shot with a fixed lens, combined with the flexible editing of the real part, which is intended to express a combination of restraint and desire.
