Synopsis
In September 1990, on the eve of the Beijing Asian Games, hundreds students from Dayu Primary School were training intensively for the opening ceremony of the team gymnastics performance. In the team, a child named An Jianjun and several classmates were disqualified from the competition because they were always slow to react. After being called “An Da Fool”, Jianjun is so upset that he is encouraged by his squadron leader Liu Qinglai to go to the training ground to cause trouble, which leads the new class teacher, Mr. Gao, to visit Jianjun’s home. This home visit made Jianjun, who had always been too timid to speak up, and Mr. Gao become good friends, and agreed to talk about any problems they had in the future and solve them together……
