Director's statement

I have always wanted to make a film about the exploration of life. “Who am I?” naturally became the first theme in this direction. Not everyone would ponder such “ridiculous” questions, but there are still some people who spend their whole lives searching for the truth of “self”. This kind of endeavor has been driving the development of the human world. The story explores how the complexities of life, emotions, stress, desires, etc. And how they act on us. Many scenes of the film attempt to visualize the emotional tempests, creating a fleeting “surreal” moment that illuminates the girl’s spiritual quest. Through the transformation between reality and illusion and the wonderful combination of various iconographies, the dreamy colors stray from the cruel reality of emotions, bringing this realistic story a fantastic atmosphere.
