Asma and Sarah, two women originally from the Levant, find themselves working in the same restaurant in the city of Lyon in France. Both bear the weight of a home they were forced to leave behind.

A young woman comes across animations on the Internet that have clearly been created from her private selfies. An unknown female with the same name confesses to identity theft. But death is quicker than the answer to the question: “Why?”
Ours
An amateur filmmaker who has filmed bears for years, contacts a film school looking for someone to edit his images into a film. A student comes forward. But when she digitises his archive, she discovers that the recordings are not only of bears. A discussion ensues about the power of a gaze and its voyeuristic violence.
Michelle Keserwany, Noel Keserwany
Michelle Keserwany and Noel Keserwany are Lebanese musicians, writers, and filmmakers. Noel is currently writing her first fiction film UN AN and developing an animated short film SEVEN MOUNTAINS. Michelle is currently developing her first animated feature film OUZKOURINI, produced by Special Touch Studios.
Anthony Ing
Anthony Ing is a British and Canadian filmmaker and composer whose work explores existing cultural artefacts with a particular focus on the relationship between identity and performance. Co-founder of production outfit, Loop, they have produced a range of artist-led film and television projects since 2014, receiving awards at the Griersons, BFI London Film Festival and the British Independent Film Awards.
Stephen Vuillemin
Stephen Vuillemin, born in 1986 in Besançon, is an animation director, comics author, and illustrator. His 2011 web-comic Lycéennes was branded “a novel use of animated gifs” by Cartoon brew and told the story of a girl getting sick after a dog licked her ear. Between 2016 and 2022, Vuillemin dedicated his time to creating his first animation short film, A KIND OF TESTAMENT, first by himself and then with the support of production company Remembers. He has also collaborated with notable clients such as Chanel and The New-York Times. After previously living in London and Taipei, Stephen Vuillemin is now residing in Paris.
Morgane Frund
Born in 1997 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Studied Film Studies, English and German at UNIL (University of Lausanne). 2019-2022 BA studies in Video at HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst). Active in the fields of documentary film, video essay and performance arts.
