Synopsis

Wangmo was once happily married to the caterpillar fungus merchant Gonpo. One day, her husband planned to go and make purchases in town. She asked him to go to her mother’s house and pick up a bag of water-milled Zanba flour that her mother had prepared for them. However, the 12 kilometers her husband traveled ended up being his last. He had an accident on his way home, which took two lives in the minivan, Wangmo’s husband and the wife of their fellow villager Karma Dondrup. His sudden death not only drastically changes Wangmo’s life but also strains her relationship with her mother-in-law.
