Synopsis
By chance, Dalong, Fang Fang, Xiao Huan and Liang come buy a classic music cassettes of Karajan while strolling on the road, but no one could engage with the meaning and beauty of the music. Life goes on, until the conductor Karajan came to Shanghai to perform, and the four of them were so excited that they asked around for tickets, but in the end they came back in vain. As the concert approaches, they come up with a crazy idea: to kidnap Karajan.
Zhang Jianya
Born in Putian, Fujian Province in 1951, under the pseudonym of Mu Jiang. Zhang Jianya is a famous writer as well. He graduated from the directing department of Beijing Film Academy in 1982, and later worked as an assistant director and director of Shanghai Film Studio. In 1982, Zhang Jianya directed his first film THE RED ELEPANT. In 2011, he was the chief director of the new edition of television series JOURNEY TO THE WEST. In 2012, he directed the biographical film DR.QIAN XUESEN.
