Director's statement
This is a story about “trauma” that stems from where I grew up. Since ancient times, coal and people have formed a symbiotic relationship. Human civilization has thus benefited from the extraction and use of coal resources, but this extraction has not come without a price. Miners have exchanged their life energy for the natural energy of coal. When over-exploitation and plundering have occurred, coal mines have gradually been reduced to rubble, and human life energy has been depleted little by little.
