Hong-jin Na
Mr. Hong-jin Na graduated from Korea National University of Arts. His first shorts brought him international acknowledgment. The Perfect Fishplate won Best Short Film at the Miseenscenes Genre Film Festival, followed by Sweat garnering Best Short at the Grand Bell Awards.
His feature film debut The Chaser (2008) and The Yellow Sea (2010) were received acclaims worldwide and attracted a vast viewership. A contemporary film auteur, Na approaches social issues from a distinct perspective and adds rich flavors to Korean film noir with his idiosyncratic bold aesthetic choices.
