At the beginning I tried to explore the relationship among wars, misery, and the spiritual worlds of different individuals. As the filming went on, the theme turned into a kind of introspection of myself. The first half part of this film pays attention to refugees and wars, while the second half part talks about freedom and desire in a more subjective way. I also put myself and my voice-over into the film in order to extend the audiences\u2019 imaginations out of the nearly-still time-space within the screen, trying to blur the lines between the real and the imagined. The whole film is constructed by 24 long shots.
